Fletcher is a Mathematician come data scientist who is able to combine advanced mathematics with programming, to develop and advance existing models.

With a highly analytical background, Fletcher is always looking for out-of-the-box ideas that can be integrated into useful tools to aid insight, accuracy, and decision making. For example, his Masters thesis involved combining advanced mathematical optimisation techniques with existing hydrological and agricultural models. These were built into a programming framework to optimise water allocation and storage under varying supply availability.
